These supplies include various janitorial and maintenance chemicals and paper products. Invitations to Bid were issued to ten possible sources with the following responses: Unisource *Chemco Industrial Soap $14,853.48 (19 No bids) $ 7,102.95 (68 No bids) $16,454.20 (4 No bids) *Minority owned business Mr. Ollendorff recommends splitting the award as follows: $11,840.25 to Industrial Soap and $5,160.72 to Unisource for a combined total of $17,000.97. #10 - 2000-2001 Annual Order - Police Unforms: Bids for furnishing police uniforms for the 2000-2001 fiscal year have been received. Invitations to Bid were sent to five possible sources with the following response: Leon Uniform $31,642.00 Leon Uniforms has provided competitive bids and provided the services for the Police Department for the last five years. Mr. Ollendorff recommends making this award to Leon Uniform's for their bid of $31,642.00, which is within the budget allocation. Mr. Schoomer moved adoption of the consent calendar, except for item #1. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. 4
