Invitations to Bid were sent to eight possible sources with the following <br />responses: <br /> <br />MISSOURI PETROLEUM <br />(1 No Bid) <br /> <br />FRED WEBER <br />(1 No Bid) <br /> <br />PACE CONSTRUCTION <br />(2 No Bid) <br /> <br />*CLAYCO <br />(3 No Bid) <br /> <br /> $9,050.00 <br /> <br />$18,850.00 <br /> $5,100.00 <br /> $5,400.00 <br /> <br />*Female Owned <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends splitting the award as follows: $5,600 to Missouri Petroleum <br />and $17,600 to Fred Weber, for a combined total of $23,200. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Responding to Ms. Colquirt, Mr. Ollendorff explained that each bidder is given a list of <br />several items to bid on. Some bidders can bid on all the items and some can only bid on a <br />few of the items, which is denoted by "no bids". To come up with the lowest price, it is <br />advantageous to split bids among different bidders that have the lowest prices. <br /> <br />The motion to approve carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READINGS: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8465 - AMENDING CHAPTER 9.08 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO OFFENSES AGAINST PUBLIC PEACE AND DECENCY, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 9.08.240, RELATING TO NOISE AND ENACTING A <br />NEW SECTION "9.08.240 NOISE", SO AS TO PROHIBIT BUILDING <br />CONSTRUCTION WORK BETWEEN THE HOURS OF TEN P.M. AND SEVEN <br />A.M., BUT ALLOW IT ON SUNDAY, AS WELL AS ALL OTHER DAYS; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> <br />
