•A • r <br /> land Avenue , now sixty feet wide, between the southern southern 11ner"of <br /> Vernon Avenue and the southern line of Vernon Place Subdivision. <br /> Section 2: The United Railways Company of St. Louis , <br /> its Receiver, their successors and assigns, are hereby granted <br /> the right and authority to contract a suitable curbing on each <br /> side of the central twenty-five foot strip in Kingsland Avenue, <br /> extending from the southern line of Vernon Avenue to the south- <br /> . � <br /> .. ,.E.,, .ern line of Vernon Place Subdivisions ;eonneotin at the,ctbsr:.n, <br /> line of Vernon Place Subdivision with the curbing which has <br /> heretofore been constructed in accordance with said ordinance <br /> 563, said curbing to be so constructed to be of the same type <br /> as that now laid in Kingsland Avenue under the terms of said Ordi- <br /> nance , And sAid United Railways Company of St . Louis , its Re- <br /> ceiver, their successors and assigns , shall fill to the top <br /> of the ties of the tracks laid therein the space between the <br /> curbs on said twenty-five foot strip in the center of Kingsland <br /> Avenue hereinbefore described between the southern line of <br /> Vernon Avenue and the southern line of Vernon Place Subdivision, <br /> frith either gravel or broken stone, and shall keep the same <br /> In good condition, free from the growth of weeds , grass, or an <br /> accuftlation of filth, brush, litter, or rubbish of any description. <br /> Section 3: The trolley poles shall be located in <br /> the center of Kingsland Avenue except where the tracks are <br /> laid on a curve , at which places the poles may be placed at <br /> the curb lines of the street. The poles toc.b6:;19cated, as <br /> herein provided, shall be of concrete or iron, and the wires <br /> strung thereon shall be at least eighteen and one-half feet <br /> above the rails . <br /> Section 4: The United Railways Company of St. Louis, <br /> its Receiver, their successors and assigns , shall pave the space <br /> between the outer rails and one foot outside of the outer rails <br /> of the portion of the curved tracks located between the we at <br /> dine of said twenty-five foot strip and the west line of Kings- <br /> land Avenue, whenever Kingsland Avenue shall be paved, with <br /> a pavement equally as good as , or better than , that placed <br /> upon said roadways of Kingsland Avenue , and shall maintain <br /> -2- <br />
