Section 903.6. Hours of operation: Ail dance halls, ballrooms, academies <br />or other places where public dances are held, shall close not later than 1:30 <br />o'clock A.ii. and remain closed between said hours and the hour of 8:00 o'clock <br /> <br /> Section 903.7. Revocation of license: fay license issued hereunder may <br />be suspe[~ed by the city manager at any time for disorderly or i~noral conduct or <br />for immoral dancing or for t!~e use of profane, indecent or ugly language, or <br />quarreling, disputing or fighting, for loud and boisterous noise, or for the <br />violation of any of the rules, regulations, provisions, terms or conditions herein, <br />or for tlze violation of any law of the United States of fanerica or State of Missouri, <br />or any ordinance of the city, in or about said hall, room, academy or other place, <br />on proof t[~oreof satisfactory to the ctt~ ~anager. Upon the suspension of any suci~ <br />license, the city manager shall report the sa~e to the council, and the council r~my <br />revoke the license or reinstate the sa~e, as the public interest may require. If <br />any license as above provided shall be revoked for any cause whatever at least three <br />months shall elapse before another license shall be issued for dancing in, on or <br />about said premises or other premises owned, leased, rented, conducted, managed or <br />superintended by any person, persons, partnership, corporation, association, club, <br />organization or society owning, conducting, managing, supervising, controlling or <br />in any manner connected with such place where said license was revoked, and no <br />license shall then be issued until after the premises shall have been reinspected <br />and reports thereof made as hereinabove provided. <br /> <br /> Section 903.8. Regulations for public dance halls: No public dance hall, <br />ballroom, academy or other place for dancing shall be licensed, permitted or <br />operated until each and all of the ordinances and requirements pertaining to health, <br />building, fire regulations, and public morals shall have been complied with, and <br />unless the place is properly ventilated and supplied with sufficient free drinking <br />fountains, toilet conveniences and separate d~essin~ rooms for man and women, and <br />is a safe and proper place for the purpose for which it is to be used. All public <br />dance halls, ballrooms, academies or other places~ where public dances are held or <br />permitted, shall at all times be kept in a clean, healthful and sanitary condition <br />and operated in such manner as to be conducive to good morals and right living, <br />and all stai~.;ays, passageways, and all rooms connected with the dance hall, ball- <br />room, academy or other place where dances are held, except the toilet rooms, shall <br />be kept open and well lighted. Ti~e dance hall and all other roo~s or places in or <br />about or connected therewith si~all be sufficiently li5t~ted at all times so that it <br />may be possible to see distinctly to any part thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 903.9. Penalty: ;~ny person, fi~ or corporation violating any <br />of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a <br />fine not exceeding the sum of five hundred dollars for each such violation. <br /> <br /> <br />
