"You are viewing access programming <br />able on this channel by Continental <br />of St. Louis County, Inc. <br /> <br />made avail- <br />Cablevision <br /> <br />This (public or educational) access channel can <br />not be used to carry advertising m~terial <br />designed to promote the sale of commerical <br />products or services, prohibited lottery infor- <br />mation or any obscene or indecent material. <br /> <br />You, your friends, or any other University City <br />resident or organization with whom you are <br />associated are invited to use the access <br />channel(s). For further information contact <br />CCSL's Program Coordinator." <br /> <br />Upon good faith determination by the Program <br />Coordinator that the subject program material <br />offered by the Applicant may offend the sensi- <br />bilities of some viewers and/or may not be <br />appropriate for children, the cable system will make <br />the following announcement immediately preceding <br />cablecast of the subject program material: <br /> <br />"The program about to be cablecast over this <br />access channel may offend the sensibilities of <br />some viewers, and may not be appropriate for <br />children." <br /> <br />In the case of poor technical quality, the following <br />announcement will be shown immediately preceeding <br />the subject program material: <br /> <br />"The viewer may find the technical quality of <br />some portions of the following program unsatis- <br />factory." <br /> <br />2. Operating Rules Governing Educational Access Channe]s <br /> <br />(a) The educational access channel shall be avail- <br />able for access cablecasting to any bona fide <br />educational institution, organization or authority <br />on a first-come, non-discriminatory basis upon the <br />filing of an appropriate request therefor in accor- <br />dance with Subsection 4 hereof~ and consistent with <br />the availability of the educational access channel <br />at the time and for the duration requested. <br /> <br />(b) Advertising material designed to promote the <br />sale of commercial products or services (including <br />advertising by or on behalf of candidates for public <br />of£ice) is prohibited in connection with any acceas <br />cablecasting over the educational access channel. <br /> <br />(c) No program and/or presentation shall be cable- <br />cast or permitted to be cablecast on the educational <br />access channel which involves directly or indirectly <br />any lottery information or which involves a lottery. <br />P~ovided, however, that the rule shown in Section 1 <br />(d) above applies. <br /> <br />38 <br /> <br /> <br />
