indecent material, the Company shall not cablecast or <br />permit to be cablecast the material or portions of the <br />material presented for cablecast by the access channel <br />user. <br /> <br />(f) Failure to comply with these rules may subject the <br />user to forfeiture of the right to use a leased access <br />channel for a period of time appropriate to the <br />infringement. <br /> <br />7. Public Inspection <br /> <br />(a) The Company shall maintain a complete record of <br />names and addresses of all persons (natural or other- <br />wise), groups, organizations or entities requesting <br />access time. Such records will be maintained in the <br />Company's Public Inspection File and will be available <br />for public inspection between the ho~rs of q:00 a.m. and <br />5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on the <br />Company's holidays. <br /> <br />(b) Persons requesting public inspection shall identify <br />themselves by name and address in order to assure admin- <br />istrative control of such records. <br /> <br />(c) Access channels will not be made available to any <br />access user who refuses to have his identity maintained <br />in the records and available for public inspection as <br />required by this Section. <br /> <br />(d) All records required herein, including requests for <br />access channels, shall be maintained for a period of two <br />(2) years. <br /> <br />j) EMERGENCY OVERRIDE <br /> <br />The Company will provide, at no cost to University City, <br />an emergency warning system which will have an audio <br />override capability available for transmission of <br />emergency messages and alerts over all channels simul- <br />taneously. <br /> <br />k) CABLE CHANNELS <br /> <br />The Company will construct the cable system in such a <br />manner that the system will pass a minimum of fifty- <br />eight (58) video channels. Specifically, the Company <br />will construct the system with passive devices (taps), <br />cable, trunk, amplifiers and line extenders capable of <br />passing the 440 MHz bandwidth. The Company will <br />activate a minimum of thirty-six (36) channels at the <br />initial system turn-on. At any time, the City will make <br />a determination as to how many channels should be acti- <br />vated with a maximum of fifty-eight (58) video channels. <br />It shall be the option of the Company at all times to <br />increase the numbers of active channels, without limit, <br />available on the system. <br /> <br />Section 13. Areawide Interconnection of CATV Systems <br /> <br />a) INTERCONNECTION REQUIRED <br /> <br />The Company shall interconnect access channels of the cable system <br /> <br />and the institutional network with any or all other CATV Systems or broadband <br />telecommunications networks in adjacent areas, after consultation with and upon <br /> <br />45 <br /> <br /> <br />
