Curb~ The lateral boundaries of that portion of <br />the street designated for the use of vehicles, <br />whether marked with curbstones or not. <br /> <br />Driver: The driver of any vehicle, <br />velllcle, includir~g the rider of a <br />animal, and the rider of a bicycle. <br /> <br />except a motor <br />horse or other <br /> <br />improved Street or Highway: A street or highway <br />which has been paved with gravel~ macadam, con- <br />crete, brick or asphalt, or improved in any manner <br />by adding material or substance so as to present a <br />surface other than the original earth surface. <br /> <br />intersectioq: The area embraced within the pro- <br />longation or connection of the lateral curb tines~ <br />or if none, then of the lateral boundary ]ines of <br />two car more ~treets or highways which join one <br />anotiqer at an angle, whether or not orle such street <br />or highway crosses the other. <br /> <br />Live Load: The weight of the cargo of a commercial <br />motor vehicle, in addition to that of the chassis <br />and body of the vehicle. <br /> <br />Motorbus: A motor vehicle designed or regularly <br />used for carrying more than eight passengers. <br /> <br />Motorcycle: A motor vehicle operated on two <br />wlneels. <br /> <br />Motor Tricycle: A motor vehicle operated on three <br />wheels~ including a motorcycle when operated with <br />any conveyance, temporarily or otherwise~ requiring <br />the use o~ a third wheel. <br /> <br />Motor Vehicle: Every vehicle as heroin defined <br />which is self-propelled. <br /> <br />Official Traffic Signals: All signals, not incon- <br />sistent with this article, placed or erected by <br />a~thor-ity of a public body or o~ficial having <br />jurisdiction~ for the purpose of guiding, direct- <br />ing, warning mr regulating traffic. <br /> <br />[]fficiai Traffic Signs: All s~gns, markings and <br />devices, other than signals, not inconsistent with <br />this article, placed or erected by authority of a <br />public body or o~flcial having ~urisdiction, for <br />the purpose of guide. rig, d~recting, warning or regu- <br />latlqg traffic. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
