2) Change of occupancy, within the same use group, of all or part of a structure <br />to one requiring greater strength, more exits, or 'increased sanitary provisions; <br />3) Change the use of all or part of a structure to another use group; <br />4) Repair, cut, remove or replace any structural member or beating support; <br />5) Cut away any wall, partition or portion thereof; <br />6) Remove or change any means of egress; <br />7) Rearrange or alter any portion of a structure in a manner that affects the <br /> means of egress; <br />8) Add to, alter, replace or relocate any sewer, drainage, drain leader, gas, soil, <br /> waste, vent, standpipe, fire suppression, water supply, or similar piping; <br />9) Add to alter, replace, or relocate any electrical or mechanical work; <br /> 10) Alter, replace or relocate any equipment which is regulated or required by <br /> this code; <br /> 11) Repair fire, wind, flood or earthquake damage; <br /> 12) Rehabilitate a condemned structure or portion thereof; <br /> <br />13) Board up or otherwise close up exterior wall openings; <br />14) Install dropped ceilings or otherwise create concealed spaces; <br />15) Install combustible wall paneling; <br />16) Install protective bars or grills on windows or door openings; <br />17) Recover or replace roof covering on roofs with a slope of less than 4:12; or <br />18) Change in roof covering systems. <br /> <br />Exceptions: 1. Installation, replacement or relocation of approved portable equipment or appliances. <br /> 2. Replacement of approved automatic dishwashers. <br /> 3. Replacement of faucets or valves. <br /> 4. Replacement of fixture traps installed with approved drainage slip joints. <br /> 5. Repairs to plumbing which involve only the working parts of faucets or valves, or <br /> the clearance of stoppages. <br /> <br />107.1.1 Repairs: Application or notice to the code official is not required for <br />ordinary repairs which do not involve any violation of this code and do not <br />require permits under the provisions of Section 107.0. <br /> <br />107.6.1 Grading and drainage: The site plan shall provide sufficient detail to <br />determine compliance with site grading and storm water drainage provisions of this code <br />and of applicable ordinances for the control, drainage and discharge of storm water. <br /> <br />(SECTION 108.0 PERMITS) <br /> <br />108.1.1 Qualifications of contractors and workers: The code official shall not <br />be required to issue a permit unless the contractor and workers are qualified to <br />carry out the proposed work in accordance with the requirements of this code. <br />Refusal or inability to comply with code requirements on other work shall be <br />considered as evidence of lack of such qualifications. <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
