Performance Standard= A criterion established to control noise, <br />smoke, toxic or noxious matter, vibration, fire and explosive <br />hazards, and glare and heat generated by or inherent in the use of <br />land or buildings (Section 34-39.7). <br /> <br />Person: A corporation, firm, partnership, association, organization <br />and any other group acting as a unit as well as individuals. It <br />shall also include an executor, administrator, trustee, receiver, or <br />other representative appointed according to law. Whenever the word <br />"person" is used in any section of this Chapter prescribing a <br />penalty or fine as to a partnership or association, the word shall <br />include the partners or members thereof, and, as to a corporation, <br />it shall include the officers, agents or members thereof who ape <br />responsible for any violation of such section. <br /> <br />Principal Building: The structure in which the principal use on the <br />lot is located. <br /> <br />Private Passenger Vehicle: <br /> <br />Any motor Vehicle or motorcycle, other than a commercial <br />vehicle, which does not exceed six and one-half (6 1/2) <br />feet in height (including accessories) and is licensed <br />as a passenger automobile or motorcycle; or <br /> <br />A van or pickup truck, other than a commercial vehicle, <br />which does not exceed six and one-half (6 1/2) feet in <br />height (including accessories) or eighteen (18) feet in <br />length, has no more than four wheels, and has a gross <br />vehicle weight rating of 6,~ pounds or less according <br />to ratings published by the manufacturer. Any pickup <br />truck that has been modified by the addition of side <br />boards or side racks shall not be classified as a <br />private passenger Vehicle. <br /> <br />Project (Development): One oP more buildings on a single lot, oP a <br />group of buildings to be constructed by a single developer to be <br />later sold individually on separate subdivided lots of record. <br /> <br />Public Service Drive: A public or private way, at the rear or side <br />of property, primarily used as a means of secondary vehicular access <br />to abutting property. <br /> <br />Restaurant: A public eating place other than a drive-in or carry- <br />out restaurant, and which does not offer goods or services to <br />consumers waiting in parked motor vehicles. <br /> <br />Row House: cf. Townhouse. <br /> <br />Screening: A hedge, earth berm, wall, or fence to provide a visual <br />separator and physical barrier. <br /> <br />Setback: The distance between the front lot line and the major <br />building surface of the principal building on the lot. <br /> <br /> <br />
