of plumbing, drainage or sewers, or to the preparation and approval of plans, or to ~ <br />required fees for permits, inspections or reinspections. ii <br /> <br />2904.7 Licenses: No person shall perform any plumbing or drainlaying work unless currently <br />licensed to perform such work as provided by local ordinance. <br /> <br />Exceptions: <br />1 .Work, repairs or installations that are specifically exempt from permit requirements. <br />2.Work performed under a homeowner's permit. <br />3. Installation .or replacement of domestic water heaters. <br />4.The installation, maintenance, extension or repair of processed drain systems, or <br />piping, drains, drainage systems, or facilities for mechanical manufacturing, industrial <br />processing refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, sprinkler or sprinkling system <br />purposes, or parts, materials, devices or appurtenances in connection therewith or for <br />the utilization or operation thereof, provided, however, final connection of any such <br />system or line to a drainage line containing any form of human waste shall be done by <br />a licensed person as stated herein. <br /> <br />(SECTION 2905.0 WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS) <br /> <br />2905.3 Public water supply: The water distribution system of any building in which plumbing <br />fixtures are installed shall be connected to a public water supply. <br /> <br />2905.6 Location of full open valves: Full-open valves shall be installed on the base of every <br />water dser pipe. <br /> <br />2905.7 Location of shutoff valves: Shutoff valves shall be installed on the fixture supply to <br />each plumbing fixture other than in individual guest rooms in buildings of Use Group R-1 that <br />are provided with unit shutoff valves. <br /> <br />SECTION 2906.0 SEWER CONNECTION <br /> <br />2906.1 Sewer connection: The water drainage system of any building in which plumbing <br />fixtures are installed a~ be connected to a public sewer system. <br /> <br />( CHAPTER 31 SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION ) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 3102.0 SIGNS) <br />3102.4.1 New signs: A new sign shall not hereafter be erected, constructed, altered or painted <br />except as herein provided, and not until after a permit has been issued by the Code Official with <br />the approval of the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />3102.4.3 General: A permit shall not be required for signs which are exempt from the <br />provisions of. the Zoning code. <br /> <br />3102.4.3.1 through 3102.4.3.5 are hereby deleted in their entirety. <br /> <br />(SECTION 3107.0 FLOOD-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION) <br /> <br />3107.12.4 Certified Elevations: Any building to be constructed in a flood-hazard zone, other <br />than alterations or additions to existing one- or two-family dwellings shall have the low sill <br />elevation certified by a Registered Engineer or Land Surveyor who is licensed in the State of <br />Missouri, before approval of the required foundation inspection will be given. <br /> <br />-16- <br /> <br /> <br />
