or solid fuel or other commodity weighed on their scale; provided however, that the sum actually <br />charged for the weighing of each load shall be uniform and the same in the case of every person who <br />may have occasion to have a load of solid fuel or other commodity weighed. <br /> <br />(2) No weigher in the County shall charge for weighing where no charge is authorized. <br /> <br />(3) No weigher shall be required to deliver his certificate of weighing, until the fee is paid. The <br />fee charged by weighers at public scales shall be uniform and the same in the case of every person <br />who shall have occasion to have any solid fuel or other commodity weighed. <br /> <br />618.590 <br /> <br />Disposing of Part of Load, Altering Certificate. <br /> <br /> Any person who shall have had any solid fuel, or any other commodity, weighed upon any public scale <br />or private scale having a legally bonded weigher in the City of St. Louis or St. Louis County and received <br />a certificate of the weight thereof who shall sell or dispose of a part thereof, and afterwards sell or offer to <br />sell the remainder as for the quantity called for in his certificate, or who shall change, alter, or in any manner <br />falsify the certificate of the weigher or who shall perpetrate any fraud on the weigher or purchaser or shall <br />suffer any of these things to be done, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this Ordinance and shall be <br />prosecuted according to the terms and provisions hereof. <br /> <br />618.600 <br /> <br />False Certificate, Penalty for Sale Under. <br /> <br /> If any person sells or offers for sale or delivers a load of solid fuel or any other thing or article in St. <br />Louis County under pretense ofa weigher's certificate obtained under and by virtue of the weight of another <br />and different load from the one he sells, or offers for sale, or delivers, shall be guilty of a violation of this <br />Chapter and shall be prosecuted according to the terms and provisions hereof. <br /> <br />618.610 <br /> <br />Dealing in Articles Not Weighed At Authorized Scales Prohibited. <br /> <br /> No person shall offer for sale or delivery or deliver any load of solid fuel, or any other commodity, <br />except solid fuel in quantities less than one thousand pounds in any vehicle which has been weighed at scales <br />not authorized to issue certificates of weight. <br /> <br />618.620 <br /> <br />Ice To Be Weighed When Sold, Avoirdupois Weight Prescribed, Exceptions. <br /> <br />(1) Every person or corporation selling ice or offering ice for sale, shall at the time of delivery of <br />any ice sold weigh the quantity of ice delivered, and for that purpose shall be provided with a steel <br />yard balance or other apparatus for weighing such ice, which shall have been duly adjusted and sealed <br />by the Supervisor of Weights and Measures in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />WTAO(Rev)-18 <br /> <br /> <br />
