reasonable construction standards and schedules, and subject to availability <br />of legal access to the location. <br /> <br />2. A Franchisee shall make every reasonable effort to provide all <br />Subscribers with continuous uninterrupted service. At the City's request, <br />Franchisee shall operate its System for a temporary period under a <br />revocable permit granted expressly by ordinance or tacitly following the <br />termination of its Franchise or Franchise Transfer as necessary to maintain <br />service to Subscribers, and shall cooperate with the City to assure an orderly <br />transition from it to another Franchisee or system operator (the "Transition <br />Period"). The Transition Period shall be no longer than the reasonable <br />period required for another Franchisee to commence service, and shall not <br />be longer than one (1) year. During the Transition Period, the Franchisee <br />shall continue to be obligated to comply with the terms and conditions of its <br />Franchise Agreement and applicable laws and regulations, and will <br />thereupon continue to receive operating revenues during such Transition <br />Period. <br /> <br />VI. System Facilities, Equipment, and Services <br /> <br />A. Compliance with Franchise Agreement. <br /> <br /> in addition to satisfying such requirements as may be established through the <br />application process and incorporated in its Franchise Agreement including but not limited <br />to those pertaining to Public, Educational and Governmental Access Facilities, every <br />Franchisee shall comply with the conditions set forth in this Section 6, except as prohibited <br />by federal law or expressly stated otherwise in the Franchise Agreement. <br /> <br />B. Full Service to Municipal Buildings. <br /> <br /> A Franchisee shall, on request of the City, install, at no charge, at least one service <br />outlet at all City buildings and all primary and secondary education public and private <br />schools within the Franchise Area, and shall install and charge only its reasonable costs <br />for any additional service outlets requested for such locations, so long as such additional <br />installations will not interfere with the quality and operation of the franchisee's System or <br />signal thereon, and the quality and manner of installation of such additional outlets shall <br />have been approved by the Franchisee (which approval shall not be unreasonably <br />withheld) and shall comply with all City, state and federal laws and regulations. The <br />Franchisee shall provide Basic Cable Service and Expanded Basic Cable Service to all <br />outlets in such buildings free of charge. A Franchise may specify other requirements <br />regarding the availability of facilities for municipal use. <br /> <br />38 <br /> <br /> <br />
