<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 15.06.020 Additions, insertions, deletions and amendments. <br /> <br /> The following numbered sections and subsections of the International Code Council Electrical <br /> Code (Administrative Provisions), 2006 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, <br /> Inc., are hereby amended by additions, insertions, deletions and changes so that such sections <br /> and subsections shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 1 SCOPE) <br /> (SECTION 101 GENERAL) <br /> <br /> 101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Electrical Code of the City of University <br /> City, Missouri, hereinafter referred to as "this code". <br /> <br /> 101.3 Scope. This code shall regulate the design, construction, installation, alteration, repairs, <br /> relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in <br /> all occupancies not regulated by the residential code of University City. <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 3 ORGANIZATION AND ENFORCEMENT) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 301 DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTION) <br /> <br /> 301.1 Enforcement agency. The term "department of electrical inspection" whenever employed <br /> herein shall be construed to mean the Department of Community Development of the City of <br /> University City, Missouri. The term "code official" shall be construed to mean the building <br /> commissioner of the City of University City, Missouri or the duly authorized representative of <br /> the building commissioner. <br /> <br /> 301.2 Appointment. The code official shall be appointed by the city manager. <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 4 PERMITS AND FEES) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 403 CONDITIONS) <br /> <br /> 403.90 Qualifications of contractors and workers. The code official shall not be required to <br /> issue a permit unless the contractor and workers are qualified to carry out the proposed work in <br /> accordance with the requirements of this code.
