K. <br />CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br /> <br />1. <br />Approval of award to Altec Industries, Inc for one Aerial truck for $83,205. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve and was seconded by Mr. Jennings. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert thanked the City for providing Council with a photograph of the truck being <br />purchased. <br /> <br />Voice vote on Mr. Glickert’s motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />L. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILLS <br /> <br />M. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />BILLS <br /> Introduced by Mr. Jennings <br />1. <br />BILL 9241 <br /> – An ordinance amending Chapter 400 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />University City, relating to zoning, by amending Section 400.030 thereof, relating to <br />definitions; and by amending Sections 400.2220 and 400.2230 thereof, relating to sign <br />regulations, containing a savings clause and providing a penalty. Per the request of Mayor <br />Welsch the ordinance was read for the first time. <br /> <br />N. <br />CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (continued if needed) <br />Melcine Henderson, 1339 Purdue, University City, MO <br />Ms. Henderson stated that after working closely with the City Manager on the marketing and <br />branding strategy she was under the impression that the City had obtained a consultant to review <br />the strategy and that the Arts and Letters Commission’s recommendations would be taken into <br />consideration before any changes were made.
