Session 1797 <br />November 13, 2000 <br /> <br /> designed to collapse upon itself during a failure so as to prevent endangering <br /> surrounding uses and property. <br /> <br />The proposed telecommunications antennas shall not cause signal interference <br />with telecommunications antennas on existing towers or structures. <br /> <br />All telecommunications antennas and support structures shall meet or exceed <br />current standards and regulations of the FCC and any other state or federal <br />agency with the authority to regulate communications telecommunications <br />antennas and support structures. Should such standards or regulations be <br />amended, then the owner shall bring such devices and structures into <br />compliance with the revised standards or regulations within six (6) months of the <br />effective date of the revision unless an earlier date is mandated by the <br />controlling agency. <br /> <br />All telecommunications antennas and support structures shall be protected from <br />unauthorized access by appropriate security devices. <br /> <br />5. The placement of advertising on antennas and support structures is prohibited. <br /> <br />Human occupancy for office or other uses by the applicants and/or the <br />applicants' successors or the storage of other materials and equipment not in <br />direct support of the connected telecommunications antennas by the applicants <br />and/or the applicants' successors is prohibited. <br /> <br />All facilities shall be maintained and improved to remain in the condition in which <br />they were approved. <br /> <br />If the antenna or support structure becomes obsolete or is not used or is inactive <br />for a period of one year it shall be considered a nuisance and be removed at the <br />owner's expense. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Construction, maintenance and operation of the antennas shall be in strict <br />compliance with Section 34-64 of the University City Zoning Code. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />The flag shall be maintained in proper condition at all times. The flag shall either <br />be lighted at night or taken down at dusk. If lighted, the lights shall be designed <br />to illuminate as little of the support structure as possible. Lighting shall not <br />unnecessarily illuminate any of the surrounding property and interfere with the <br />use and enjoyment of such other property. All lighting shall be arranged or <br />designed using cut-off lenses as necessary to direct light away from adjoining <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
